Are tricycles and electric bikes ridden in the same way?

They are completely different. Two-wheeled electric bikes require body balance, which requires training. To achieve autonomous balance, especially when turning, you need to consciously turn in a certain direction, toward the center of gravity, and the handlebars turn to that direction naturally. A tricycle is inherently balanced and does not need to be adjusted. So when riding a tricycle, you don't need to turn in a natural direction, but just use your hands to turn in that direction.
For riding operations, if there is no gear, the operation is exactly the same. Some tricycles have foot brakes, but two-wheeled vehicles do not. Some tricycles also have gear selections and can be engaged.
